Kleeneze Caribbean Cruise 2009 > Your Stories

“What an amazing week we had. The memories of it will last forever. We would just like to thank everyone at Kleeneze HQ that made it all happen and ensured we had the time of our lives.

The most challenging aspect for us now is getting across to others what one of these conferences are like – it’s so difficult to put into words - the atmosphere and the excitement that you get from mixing with Kleeneze's elite altogether in the ultimate of surroundings.. Successful businesses are built from striving to ensure as many people in the team qualify for the conferences each and every year, and rest assured we are doing our best to spread the word and motivate everyone towards success.”
Tracy and David Sheehan, Silver Executive Distributors

“Just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had on Club Med 2. It was our second Spring Conference, having qualified for Phuket last year, but it was the first for our Gold distributors, Andy and Linda Goddard, who were one of the lucky Golden Ticket winners.

The yacht was magnificent, the food superb, the service excellent and the conference both informative and heart-warming. We spent our days on paradise beaches and our nights partying on board. It is impossible to convey how special these conferences are so we recommend that everyone sets their sights on Cape Town. Make a plan and stick to it.

A big thank you to Mandy, Emma, Michael, Jamie and everyone at Kleeneze for making us feel so special.”
Brian and Diane Holmwood, Bronze Executive Distributors

“Here I am with the Service Centre girls from the company, who qualified for the trip. It was a great idea of the company, to have qualification criteria for employees of the company. Getting together like this helps promote understanding of what we do in the network, and what the company does behind the scenes for us.”
Andy Ridley, Bronze Executive Distributor

“We would just like to say thank you so much for the unbelievable cruise on board Club Med 2. What an awesome ship - everything was out of this world, the food, wine, the people and, of course, the islands. To wake up and find yourself at a different island everyday for five days was truly magical.

The sea was so blue, clear and warm it was better than paradise. We could never have dreamed it to be so wonderful. We will remember this forever.
Just make sure you never miss out on a conference, it is life changing”
Jackie Norris, Silver Executive Distributor

“Once I heard that there was going to be a pirate party I decided for the first time ever that I’d grow a beard for the occasion. I then thought I’d do a sponsored shave to raise money for a children’s ward where one of our team member’s 3-year-old daughter had spent 4 months in 2008 being treated for a brain tumour. It wasn’t until we visited that we realised how difficult and monotonous it must have been for the three of them living out of a suitcase with their lives on hold, so I was looking to raise funds for play and activity items that would help the hours pass a little quicker.

The shave actually took place at the rear of the boat on the last day with a hung over Peter White with a very shaky hand!

Donations can be made direct to ward C2 Charities fund, Box 5, Addenbrookes Hospital, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 2QQ. I will be also raising funds at Local business meetings within The Vision group.”
Gary Cooper, Silver Executive Distributor

“We have just returned from the holiday of a lifetime and we are still floating (please pardon the pun!). Thank you so much to Kleeneze for the most amazing experience we have ever had!

Who would have thought that when we joined this business a little over 3 years ago, just to earn and extra €50 a week that we would wind up on board Club Med 2, in a deluxe cabin, sailing around the beautiful Caribbean?! It’s a bit mind blowing!

When you are at home working your Kleeneze business around a busy family, a week of TOTAL relaxation on Club Med 2 feels very much like a distant dream. Well, there you go, dreams do come true!

Tales of our adventures on the high seas will go on for many years to come, I'm sure! And we have the pictures to prove it! Don't think we have ever eaten so much, laughed so much and chilled out so much in our entire lives; visited beautiful places we probably never would have seen and made many wonderful friends along the way.

Thank you so much to all the awesome leaders that we met on board who where always more than willing to impart their advice and share the wisdom of their experience with us. Thank you so much to all the Kleeneze staff and Michael and Jamie who had a big hand in making this all possible. Most importantly thank you so much to our awesome team, without them we are nothing!

We have come back so motivated and fired up and can't wait share our experience with anybody who will listen! We are back in action and are now focusing on Blackpool and Cape Town, and helping our team to get there too. Club Med 2 is going to be one to beat though; it really was the Ultimate destination! Thanks Kleeneze!”
Jimmy and Tina McGrath, Silver Executive Distributors

Club Med 2 was our ninth conference to date and a truly exceptional trip. We often say that you should live your life not by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away – and Club Med 2 was packed full of such moments.

When we arrived alongside the ship, we couldn’t believe the sheer size of it – tied up alongside the jetty in Martinique. Words cannot even begin to describe the magnificence of it – we don’t think there was a dry eye anywhere.

Our suite was so sumptuous – with a white leather settee, two bathrooms and welcome champagne from the captain – we’ve never experienced anything like it. The a la carte food was fantastic too, to say nothing of the free bar!

The islands all had their own uniqueness, but our favourite was Jost Van Dyck with the stunning palm-fringed white sands beach. Our trip to Foxy’s bar did not let us down – even Ed was there to welcome us!

The whole event was capped by having five of our team there with us. We were immensely proud of Gail Drew doing her first ever testimonial (what a place to start!) and, of course, the inimitable Andy Buxton with his wicked wit and punchy points delivered, as always, with confidence and professionalism.

Truly, everyone should aspire to qualify for one of these world class destinations – it’s not just about the location, the food and drink or the entertainment, but about sharing quality time with like-minded people all pursuing their dreams with this amazing life-changing company. This was the ultimate destination – but also the ultimate beginning of a fantastic future for all those who are prepared to work for it.”
Geoff and Fiona Webb, Silver Senior Executive Distributors

“What a magical time we had on our first ever Kleeneze conference.

It started the night before – we were so excited, we didn’t go to bed – just watched the time tick slowly by! Darren is actually terrified of flying and has to get special tablets from the doctor. They tend to space him out for a couple of days, though, so determined not to miss any of the excitement, he refused to take them! It was an amazing personal achievement and I was so proud of him.

When we pulled up in the coach to find in front of us the amazing and enormous Club Med 2, I burst into tears and Darren was just gob smacked! Words really can’t describe how we felt.

There were too many amazing moments to talk about (it would take days to tell), but a couple of memorable moments for us were:

Being treated like royalty. Whenever we nearly had an empty glass, it was filled. Nothing was too much trouble. Anything we wanted, we had. All the staff were amazing.

We also went to St John’s with Fiona and Geoff Webb - they were amazing company, making our first conference even more special than it was already. We walked around the shops there – it was such a relaxed place, everybody was so chilled out; they didn't seem to have a care in the world.

I have never in my life seen such an idyllic place as Jost Van Dyke. The beach was pure white sand, the sea - turquoise blue, you could see all the colours of the fish; we even had a go at snorkelling! We must have looked such a sight (well we tried!). We also spent hours in Foxy’s bar, seeing Ed and listening to Foxy himself making up fantastic poems about life!

I was so honoured to have been asked to do a testimonial on board. I was so scared! But I felt truly special, surprising myself and a few others by doing it! You see, not only was it a fab trip, we both conquered a few fears along the way!

We now know what people say – that you can’t explain how fantastic these Conferences are, you have to experience them for real! Our tip to anyone who has yet to qualify is – go for it, do whatever it takes to be there, because only then will you understand for yourself how amazing they are!
Darren and Gail Drew, Gold Distributors

“Having just come back from the ultimate destination, as gold ticket qualifiers, we wanted to thank Kleeneze for this trip of a lifetime. We were treated like royalty by the staff of the Club Med 2, the islands and beaches we visited were just awesome. All Distributors were approachable and were always willing to share their knowledge and advice whilst enjoying ourselves and having fun.

Every day there was a new island, sunshine and gorgeous white beaches with beautiful blue water. We have been inspired and fired up by this amazing experience and are not going to miss the next one.

This has been a trip of a lifetime, but as Jackie White said at the conference: ‘don’t let this experience become a distant memory. Let this experience of a lifetime turn into a lifetime of experiences.’ Amazing words and something we intend to do.
It has been a trip of a lifetime and they are on offer to all distributors. See you all in Cape Town.”
Richard Radbourne and Yvonne Kirk, Gold Distributors

“For more than 12 months everyone has looked forward to qualifying for the Caribbean Cruise with the icing on the cake being a trip to Foxy's Bar, as seen on the Club Med 2 DVD, on the island of Jost Van Dyke.

As it turned out, it proved to be one of the highlights of the trip with dozens of Kleeneze Distributors descending on poor Ed, the barman, at Foxy's. He didn't know what hit him! Foxy himself was also there with his extraordinary unique character to offer everyone a very warm welcome.

After several Painkiller cocktails and taking in the amazing Caribbean atmosphere accentuated by beautiful warm sunshine and white coral beaches, several members of the Premier Group, Sandra Brown, Cindy Brown, Louise Wellock, and Myrna Wellock, took to a beach hammock in fits of giggles that lasted the remainder of the afternoon.”
Peter and Myrna Wellock, Silver Senior Executives

“I’ve never had lobster before so I was looking forward to the BBQ lunch at the Pirate House.  Imagine my excitement that not only was the lobster delicious, but the Pirate House was pink (with one photograph, a pink house by the beach is now a definite goal!).

We went for a walk to Spring bay which was definitely the most beautiful place I have ever been, with towering granite boulders set against very lush greenery overlooking the bluest sea and soft sandy beaches. Laura Kelly and I made the most of the warm sea, body surfing the crashing waves and swimming against the rip curl.

There were some amazing and emotional speakers at the conference. Andy Buxton as usual made us all laugh with his story and a few jokes (he really should have entered the talent contest!). Sylvia Laing and Karen were incredibly emotional; you could see how much Kleeneze has had such a positive effect on their lives. Jean Day's training related to being on CM was very clever and really made me think about my business in a very different way: ‘Are you ready to be captain of your ship?’

Jackie White, as usual, was strong, clear and direct about how their business has moved on since they were top qualifiers on the Sea Goddess. She made us reach up into the air and stretch, then made us stretch just that little bit further, and then explained that we can all do that with our businesses too.

Everyone looked amazing dressed in their best for the Black and White Gala Dinner.  We ate delicious food, had yet more cheeky Bacardis and Club Med 2s in the Moby Dick bar.  Lots more laughs and dancing followed until the early hours.

Departure was emotional as my group went earlier than others but it was really cool to be waved off the boat by new and old friends and CM2 staff.

“I think my favourite quotes from Club 2 had to be:

‘I don’t need to go to the gym while I’m out here – I’m getting a six-pack from laughing so hard everyday!’ Abi Colclough.

‘This group is like the rainbow in our time working on CM2. You all enjoy yourself so much, laugh a lot, are very polite to all of us and appreciate the beauty of everything. I have four weeks left and this rainbow will get me through my remaining time here,’ Restaurant Manager of Club Med 2.

What a trip! I’ve done my first sign up today and there are more to come as I’ve been telling everyone about the amazing experience and asking if the want to join me on the next one.”
Debra Bamford, Gold Distributor

“Norman and I would like to thank Kleeneze for an amazing conference. The ship was awesome, the crew made us feel like royalty, the islands were so beautiful and the company and friendships that we made with other fantastic Kleeneze distributors are unforgettable.

The memory of the Club Med II will stay forever with us.”
Norman and Joanne Grundy, Gold Distributors

“We had the most fantastic time aboard the Club Med 2. We'd focussed hard all last year to help our team achieve their goals, and so put us in qualification for the Spring Destination - and WOW - it was worth it!

To spend time together in such a beautiful place in the world was amazing, and to be there with friends in the business, on such an awesome sailing yacht, was fabulous!

It's true that you reap what you sow. We were only reaping such a reward because we'd been persistent and consistent with sowing both our retail and sponsoring during the year. And the great news about that is that ANYONE can do the same this year to qualify for Cape Town next March.

We worked closely with our Uplines knowing that they had the knowledge and experience to help us, and then, most importantly, we had a "whatever it takes" attitude to get on and do what we were advised. It wasn't always easy. We did have all sorts of obstacles to overcome during the year, but knew that we didn't want them to knock us of course as can so easily happen if you're not fully focussed on your goal. In fact, having all our Club Med 2 posters around the house, and regularly watching the promotional DVD were vital to keeping us on track. We're so pleased that we qualified. We had a wonderful time, with memories that will last a lifetime.”
Doug and Sandra Roper, Bronze Executive Distributors

“We arrived an hour behind schedule due to a delay at Orly airport and we were really feeling bedraggled and in need of food and a shower, but when we saw the yacht and walked up those steps, on-board we came alive!

We were off to dinner with a quick service and then out onto deck for the unveiling of the sails and off we sailed into the night. That really was something that I'll never forget. I had dreamt for so long of standing on that yacht and setting sail to beautiful music - that really was my magical moment. It was a wonderful experience.

All the staff were so accommodating. We got 'told off' a few times for pouring our own drinks! Tony was even told by one of the waiters 'You don't do anything, you are on holiday!'  The food was wonderfully presented and tasted exceptional. It was lovely getting to know the staff. They all had a laugh with us and nothing was too much trouble. I don't think they had ever had guests like the Kleeneze gang!

Jost van Dyke was my favourite place of all. The colours of the ocean were spectacular. One moment ink blue, then turquoise blue and then sea green. The beaches were like sand dust. So smooth, so soft, so sinking! The 'excursion' to Foxy’s was one we'll never forget, not to mention the road trip to get there. One thing I didn't expect was to be swept off my feet by my sponsor and then him running like the clappers into the ocean with me screaming! He knew I wasn't a good swimmer so he slowed down, eventually! Wow, that was awesome. I think a couple of Painkillers at Foxy’s helped with that experience!

It was an awesome feeling to know that during the night you were travelling to yet another beautiful destination. Each morning we'd look out your cabin porthole and be welcomed by a wonderful sunrise and a different view. Truly amazing. Those feelings and sights can never be explained to anyone. You really had to be there to experience such splendour.

The carnival and pirate nights were good nights! In our group we all work together, inspire and encourage each other to be successful, however, when you go on trips like these, that's when you see a different side to people! Their REAL FUN SIDE comes out and both the carnival night and pirate night demonstrated that other side of people! Hey, at the end of the day we all worked hard to be on that trip and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The Gala Dinner night was spectacular. All week we'd be wined and dined in the Magellan Restaurant and we really wondered how the Gala Dinner would be any different from the other nights. Well, it really was. The tables were set out in a black and white theme with individual menus and name places, not to mention the magical badge that we all work so hard for! The napkin was even folded like a dinner shirt. These special touches are what these trips are all about.

I'll let you into a secret. Tony had a goal last November to lose weight so that he could and look and feel good in his Tuxedo. Well, since last November and the end of February this year, he lost 6 stone!

You know, when I started this business I never dreamed I'd be sent to wonderful places in the world. From catalogues to the Caribbean, that really is remarkable and the beauty of it is, anyone can do it as long as they are committed to achieving their goals and helping others achieve theirs.
Linda and Tony Gower, Silver Executive Distributors

“Of course it goes without saying that the trip was absolutely fantastic and we were so delighted and honoured to have been part of this Conference. We really did not want the trip to end as there was such a buzz about the ship. Everyone felt like long time friends as you got to chat to everyone while walking around on the teak decks or stopping for a drink at the many bars. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble.”
Peter and Sheryl Dutton, Bronze Executive Distributors

“We were first-time Spring Destination qualifiers and couldn't have picked a better place to go. From the moment we got to the destination we were treated like royalty. The staff on board and from Gullivers were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble, and everything they did just made the experience better and better for us.

Kleeneze and Gullivers made it possible for me to surprise Steve with renewing our vows on Virgin Gorda in a beautiful church. We were lucky enough to have Peter White as best man. Then we had a champagne reception on the beach afterwards. What made the whole trip special was the people we shared the whole experience with and getting a chance to sizzle with other distributors in the sun.

Our other highlight was seeing Michael Khatkar doing his Simon Cowell impression at the excellent Kleeneze's got talent - he was brilliant. It truly was the trip that has given us a lifetime of memories. We are working towards Cape Town next year and this has only given us a taste for more travel courtesy of Kleeneze. We can’t wait until the Showcase on May 9th to see where the Autumn Destination is!”
Denise and Steve Neal, Bronze Executive Distributors

“There were so many ‘photos we could choose from, but the one I like best is a personal one, when we were talking to Tony Briffa and his wife Kate. The happiness just shows! But as Zig Ziglar said, happiness is not pleasure it is achievement’”
Peter and Angela Abrahams, Gold Distributors

“From the moment we were at the quayside, we were blown away with the enormity of the boat itself – it was breathtaking. We all had an absolute ball on board, with entertainment every night. The beaches that we visited were out of this world – some of the best beaches in the world – turquoise sea and soft white sand. It truly was the ‘Ultimate Destination’. We’re now focused on bringing some of our team to Cape Town with us next year – having both of us lived there; we know how wonderful a destination Cape Town 2010 will be.”
Stuart and Robyn Heard, Bronze Executive Distributors

“Having had the dream and goal from day one, we put our plans into action. Even when we missed the original qualification we never gave up on our goal. You never know what is round the corner.

Kleeneze and Gullivers had thought of everything on the journey from Heathrow to Martinique. Nothing was too much trouble.

We qualified as Senior on the growth of our business and the excitement when we received the call to say we had qualified was nothing compared to when we turned the corner on the coach and saw the ship for the first time.

The welcome on board was amazing. The cabin was stunning and to sit on the bed, after it being a goal for so long was everything that Karen imagined. Even the staff and G.O. team were very impressed with Kleeneze and how we all mingled and talked. They are not used to it at all. It just goes to show that this is a people business.

It was brilliant being with like-minded positive people for the whole week, to talk about how to move our business further. Trophy winners, Corsa winners and Distributors of the Year (past and present) are willing to help you, answer questions, give great tips and advice, all whilst relaxing around the pool, on the beach, or a drink at the bar.

This Spring Destination was an experience we will not forget and one that we will experience again. Fred has now been made redundant and we can really work our plan to be in Cape Town in 2010. We would love you to be there too, so set your sights make the plan put it into action and believe in yourselves that you can be.”
Fred and Karen Mason, Senior Distributors

“We knew that sailing on this magnificent ship would be an awesome experience after watching the DVD (and knowing the script inside out and back to front) but it surpassed our wildest dreams.

From seeing it for the first time and walking up all those steps (didn't count them but there were quite a few!) to sailing away and then waking up each morning to a different view. The Caribbean cruise was absolutely fantastic and so were the people. Mixing with all the distributors from the top leaders to the people who were gold and of course with the service centre girls made the trip even more special. Not only did we have a brilliant time we also made lots of new friends.

So we would like to thank you both for enabling us to experience this most wonderful conference and in the words off the DVD 'one that will stay with us forever'!”

Jane and John Dunkerley, Silver Executive Distributors

“From a catalogue to the Caribbean – what an amazing business! Before Kleeneze I had 2 jobs working 7 days a week for 7 years just to keep my head above water. Juliet Also worked full time and we were bringing up 2 children.

When we first looked at Kleeneze, we were shown it by a friend and I turned it down twice; once because I personally had an ego problem and didn’t want anyone seeing me putting out catalogues and secondly there were 2 other distributors on the street.
With my work commitments I couldn’t get another job and Juliet had the kids to look after around her full time job, so Kleeneze was the only option. We could earn that little bit more in the little time we had.

We later realised the business was so, so much bigger than either of us had imagined. By attending meetings and meeting new people who were earning large incomes, we started to follow a simple system. Now, still on a part time basis, we have a best business turnover of £1/2 million per annum.

By introducing and working with a fantastic group of people we have also qualified for 4 Kleeneze conferences – Monte Carlo, South Africa, Sydney and Club Med 2 cruise in the Caribbean – places we could never have afforded to go to. Plus people in our business have also qualified for Monte Carlo and Prague which is even more rewarding.

You see, what we have learnt is that the business is so unique. It is the only business we know where the only way to get what you want in life, is to help others get what they want.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WAY TO MAKE A LIVING and we really believe this really is just the beginning.

We had nothing to lose and now have so much to gain!”
Karim and Juliet Karmali, Gold Executive Distributors
